Nothing (Gyosho)

na-i, na-kusu, mu, bu
This style is called gyō sho, a cursive style of writing. We posted the kaisho style of this character here before.
Compared to the kaisho style, the starting point and the end of each stroke don’t look sharp but strokes should not appear weak.
Referring to the kaisho style, which is basic, find which part should be accentuated and which lines are just connectors.

I love writing MU but continue to be confused about the stroke order. Is it different for Kaisho and Gyosho? It looks as if it is because of the connectors. Continuing to learn from your postings and thank you for your efforts.

Thank you for telling us that you love this MU. Yes, you are right. The stroke order of Gyosho is sometimes different from that for Kaisho. But this is not a strict rule. There are so many variations. You can draw another Gyosho style of MU using the stroke order for Kaisho.
Nice to hear from you again.
