aka, aka-i, seki, shaku

Red is aka, akairo, or aka-i.

The equator is sekidō. Infrared radiation is sekigaisen. Gai means the outside. Sen is a line.

Seki sometimes means bareness. Sekihin means grinding poverty. Hin is poverty. Sekirara is an expression that describes one’s frankness of writing or talks. Ra means nakedness.

1. Draw the upper horizontal line.

3. Draw the longer horizontal line.
4. Draw the sweeping stroke at the left of the center.
5. Draw the vertical stroke with an upward turn.
6. Draw the sweeping stroke on the left.
7. Draw the dot on the right.
