su-ku, su-keru, su-kasu, tō
Su-keru or tōmeina is transparent. Tōmei is transparency. The suffix na makes some compounds function as adjectives.
Su-kasu is to make transparent. Misu-kasu means to see through somebody’s mind. The mi of misu-kasu means to see. Shintō is penetration. Shin means soaking.
This character has one of the most difficult radicals, shinnyō.
- Draw the sweeping dot from the top.
- Draw the horizontal stroke from the left to the right.
- Draw the vertical line from inside the first stroke.
- Draw the sweeping stroke from the previous strokes intersect.
- Draw the sweeping stroke where the previous stroke begins.
- Draw the sweeping stroke from near the center.
- Draw the crooked stroke. Change the direction of the brush four times.
- Start drawing shinnyō. Draw the dot in the upper-left corner of the character.
- Draw the crooked stroke, the vertical part. Change the direction of the brush three times.
- Draw the lying curve at the bottom. Stop a little before finishing the stroke, and spread the brush to make a neat hem-like ending.
